Scooped out of an East Idaho drainage, Ditch Cat was fed a steady diet of New Wave, Punk, Alternative and Surf Rock before becoming a 2025 Best of Teton Valley musical act finalist. The feisty feline four-piece began in 2024 when frontman Miles Knowles opened his garage to jam on Talking Heads and Clash songs with bassist Jason Popilsky and drummer Josh Holmes. The band’s full potential was unleashed when Julia Knowles pounced in on vocals, keys and guitar.

Ditch Cat performs high energy dance rock primarily from the 80s and 90s. Their engaging live shows feature smooth harmonies, catchy riffs and upbeat rhythms. Sing-alongs and throwback attire are highly encouraged whenever Ditch Cat takes the stage.
